IIIinska Church is a very old Ukrainian Orthodox church which can be seen on the back of the five hryvnia bill. IIIinska Church is located on a riverbank in the small village of Subotiv in the Cherkassy region of Ukraine. In English this church would be called “St. Elisha's Church. IIIinska Church was built in 1653 by order of Bodhan Khemesky.

Today IIIinska Church is a Ukrainian historical land mark. This historical church can be also seen on some Ukrainian postage stamps and in a painting by another famous Ukrainian, Taras Shevchenko(you can read more about Taras Shevchenko on the Blog-page about the 100 hryvnia bill).
